be going to: planes para el futuro

S + am / is / are + going to + V0

Se usa para planes ya decididos o para algo que está a punto de ocurrir y ya se ven señales. Errores comunes: en español se dice «voy a comprar», pero en inglés hay que empezar con to be: I going to buy ✗, I am going to buy ✓.

I am going to buy a new phone.

Voy a comprar un celular nuevo.

She is going to study in Australia.

Ella va a estudiar en Australia.
