比較級と最上級
Adj-er + than · the + Adj-est · more / the most + Adj1音節の形容詞は -er と -est を付けます。2音節で -y で終わるものは y を -ier / -iest に変えます: happy → happier、easy → easier。それ以外の2音節以上は more と the most を使います。不規則なもの: good–better–best、bad–worse–worst。 よくある誤り: 二つの作り方を同時に使いません: more cheaper ✗、cheaper ✓。また比較級には with ではなく than を使います。
This bag is cheaper than that one.
このかばんはあれより安いです。
She is the tallest in the class.
彼女はクラスでいちばん背が高いです。
This film is more interesting.
この映画のほうがおもしろいです。
My English is better now.
私の英語は今のほうが上達しています。
