动词 + 介词 + V-ing

很多动词要搭配固定的介词，而介词后面的动词一律用 V-ing 形式。常见搭配：succeed in, insist on, object to, look forward to, apologize for, accuse somebody of。 常见错误：look forward to 里的 to 是介词，不是不定式的 to：look forward to hear ✗, look forward to hearing ✓。
例句
She succeeded in passing the exam.
她成功通过了考试。
He insisted on paying.
他坚持要付钱。
I look forward to hearing from you.
我期待你的回复。
They apologized for arriving late.
他们为迟到道了歉。
