表示第二件事紧接着第一件事发生。前半句用倒装的过去完成时，后半句用一般过去时。连词搭配是固定的：no sooner 搭配 than，hardly 和 scarcely 搭配 when。 常见陷阱：不要换搭配：No sooner ... when ✗, No sooner ... than ✓。
