after / before / since / while / on / by + V-ing
连词和介词后的分词
讲解
保留连词或介词，把其余部分简化为 V-ing。这样比单独用分词更能说清时间关系。On + V-ing 表示“一……就”，by + V-ing 表示“通过……方式”。 常见陷阱：介词后面一定接 V-ing，不接 to V：before to leave ✗, before leaving ✓。
例句
After checking the figures, she signed.
核对完数字后，她签了字。
Before leaving, please switch off the lights.
离开之前，请关灯。
On hearing the news, he called home.
一听到这个消息，他就往家里打了电话。
By working nights, they met the deadline.
通过上夜班，他们赶上了截止日期。
