解説
ラテン語から来た形容詞の一群は、それ自体にすでに比べる意味が入っているので、more を足さず、than も使いません: superior、inferior、prior、senior、junior、preferable。すべて前置詞 to を取ります。 よくある誤り: than を使わず、more も足しません: more superior than the older one ✗、superior to the older one ✓。
