把表示数量的从句接到刚提到的名词短语后面。人用 whom，物用 which，前面一定有逗号。这里不能用 them，因为那样就成了两个独立的句子，必须用关系代词连接。 常见陷阱：不要用 them 代替 whom：ten people, three of them were students ✗（成了两个句子硬凑在一起），three of whom were students ✓。
例句
We interviewed ten people, three of whom were students.
我们面试了十个人，其中三人是学生。
He owns two shops, both of which are downtown.
他有两家店，都在市中心。
She wrote five books, none of which sold well.
她写了五本书，没有一本卖得好。
They sent many files, most of which were empty.
