Fill in the Blank — CEFR 6

Fill-in-the-blank trains something passive reading never does: the reflex to actively pick the right word to use, not just recognize meaning while reading. Questions use real example sentences from CEFR 6 vocabulary, blanking exactly the word being studied and offering distractors of similar length so you have to rely on real meaning, not guess by shape.

Sample question

FAQ

How are the wrong-answer options chosen?

The system prefers distractors with the same number of English words as the correct answer, drawn from CEFR 6 vocabulary, so the exercise tests real understanding rather than guessing by word length.

How is this different from the listening fill-in-the-blank type?

Same question-generation logic (blanking a word in an example sentence), but this type shows the text right away, while listening fill-in-the-blank hides the text and makes you listen to the whole sentence first.
