Quá khứ đơn — động từ có quy tắc
Explanation
Việc đã xong trong quá khứ thì động từ thêm -ed, không đổi theo chủ ngữ. Tận cùng bằng e thì chỉ thêm d; phụ âm + y thì đổi thành -ied; một nguyên âm giữa hai phụ âm thì gấp đôi phụ âm cuối (stop → stopped). Bẫy thường gặp: Tiếng Việt đánh dấu quá khứ bằng chữ "đã" đứng riêng, còn tiếng Anh đổi ngay trên động từ. Đã có yesterday rồi vẫn phải chia: Yesterday I work ✗, Yesterday I worked ✓.
