Explanation
Thêm 's vào sau người sở hữu, và người sở hữu đứng TRƯỚC vật — ngược hẳn trật tự tiếng Việt. Danh từ số nhiều đã có -s thì chỉ thêm dấu nháy: my parents' house. Bẫy thường gặp: Tiếng Việt là "túi của Lan" (vật trước), tiếng Anh đảo lại: bag of Lan ✗, Lan's bag ✓.
