Dùng cho điều có thật khả năng xảy ra trong tương lai. Vế if dùng HIỆN TẠI, vế chính dùng will. Có thể thay will bằng can, may, should tuỳ ý. Bẫy thường gặp: If it will rain ✗ — vế if không bao giờ có will, dù đang nói về tương lai. If it rains ✓.
