Explanation

Dùng cho việc đang diễn ra tại một thời điểm trong quá khứ. Cách dựng giống hiện tại tiếp diễn nhưng to be ở dạng quá khứ: was cho I/he/she/it, were cho you/we/they. Bẫy thường gặp: Đừng dùng did với dạng này: Did you were waiting? ✗, Were you waiting? ✓.
