B2

N , + quantifier + of + which / whom + V

some of whom và both of which

Explanation

Bẫy thường gặp: Không dùng them thay whom: ten people, three of them were students ✗ (thành hai câu chắp), three of whom were students ✓.

Examples

We interviewed ten people, three of whom were students.

He owns two shops, both of which are downtown.

Ông ấy có hai cửa hàng, cả hai đều ở trung tâm.

She wrote five books, none of which sold well.

Cô ấy viết năm cuốn sách, không cuốn nào bán chạy.

They sent many files, most of which were empty.

Họ gửi nhiều tệp, phần lớn đều rỗng.
