Trạng từ chỉ quan điểm và chỉ liên kết (fortunately, obviously, however, in fact) đứng đầu câu và có dấu phẩy theo sau. Trạng từ chỉ cách thức thì đứng cuối. Không được chèn trạng từ giữa động từ và tân ngữ. Bẫy thường gặp: Không chèn trạng từ giữa động từ và tân ngữ: She explained clearly the rule ✗, She explained the rule clearly ✓.
