no trước so sánh hơn phủ định hẳn khoảng cách giữa hai bên, khác hẳn not more chỉ nói không nhiều hơn. no less than nhấn con số lớn đến đáng chú ý. none the worse for nghĩa là chẳng hề bị ảnh hưởng xấu.
