Explanation
Mạnh hơn wish. Dùng quá khứ đơn cho điều trái với hiện tại, quá khứ hoàn thành cho điều đã qua, và would cho điều muốn người khác đổi. Câu có thể đứng một mình, không cần vế chính. Bẫy thường gặp: Điều đã qua thì dùng quá khứ hoàn thành, không dùng quá khứ đơn: If only we booked earlier ✗, If only we had booked earlier ✓.
