in là ở bên trong, on là ở trên bề mặt, at là ở một điểm. under là ở dưới, next to là bên cạnh, between là ở giữa hai vật. Bẫy thường gặp: in the picture chứ không phải on the picture; on the bus chứ không phải in the bus. Mấy cụm này phải nhớ nguyên cụm.
