Explanation
Nói về sự vật nói chung thì danh từ số nhiều và danh từ không đếm được đứng trần, không có mạo từ. Tên riêng, tên nước, tên ngôn ngữ và bữa ăn cũng vậy. Bẫy thường gặp: Nói chung thì không có the: I like the cats nghĩa là thích mấy con mèo cụ thể nào đó, khác hẳn I like cats.
