Account and data deletion guide

You may request permanent deletion of your English RankUp account and related data at any time. The fastest method is to delete it directly in the app.

1. Delete your account in the app

1. Open the English RankUp app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Select Profile, then open Settings.
3. Select Security, then Delete account.
4. For an email account, enter your password. For a Google or Apple account, confirm the request in the dialog.
5. Read the warning and select Delete permanently to finish.

2. Send a request by email

If you cannot sign in or no longer use the app, send an email from your registered address to [email protected] with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include the email address of the account to be deleted so we can verify and process your request.

Never send your password, one-time password, or payment card details by email.

3. Data that will be deleted

• Your account, profile, authentication details, and active sessions.
• Learning progress, streak, XP, bookmarks, practice history, and mock-exam history.
• Community posts, comments, reactions, friendships, and notifications.
• Device data, push tokens, and usage data linked to your account.

4. Data that may be retained

Some transaction, payment, or invoice records may be retained for the period required by law for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Access is restricted, and this data is not used to continue providing the learning service.

5. Processing time and important notes

• An in-app request is carried out immediately after you successfully confirm it.
• An email request is processed within 30 days after account ownership is verified.
• Deletion is permanent. The account, learning progress, and deleted content cannot be recovered.
