Display Priority Policy

This page explains how English RankUp orders its content and products, and where third-party entries appear on the platform.

1. Scope

English RankUp is an online English-learning platform that we operate ourselves and on which we provide our own digital content. It is not an intermediary marketplace: no third-party seller lists products here, there is no advertising auction, and there is no paid ranking of learning content. Third-party content appears only in the partner and sponsor area described in section 3 — an area that may be commercial (partnerships, sponsorships) and is always labelled.

2. How learning content is ordered

Learning content (lessons, exams, vocabulary, videos) is ordered by pedagogical path and CEFR level to serve learning. That order is decided by our curriculum team; we neither sell nor accept sponsorship to change the order, prominence or search results of learning content.

3. The partner and sponsor area

The home page and the study pages carry a “Partners & Sponsors” card in the right-hand column, introducing the organisations currently working with us; how many are shown varies over time. The order inside the card is set by English RankUp according to each partnership agreement and its term; it is not the result of an auction, does not change with user behaviour, and does not depend on which plan you are on.

4. Positions can change

Positions inside the card are not permanent. When an organisation widens the scope of its partnership, renews for a longer term or joins as a larger sponsor, we may move it higher; the remaining entries shift down accordingly and may be held back if the card is already full. Conversely, when an agreement lapses or ends, that entry is removed. These changes follow the commercial arrangement between English RankUp and each organisation: we guarantee no ranking position to anyone, and we do not notify users each time the card is reordered. However the order changes, the principle in section 2 still holds — learning content is never reordered for sponsorship reasons, and every commercial entry stays labelled as described in section 5.

5. Labelling, separation and liability

Every entry in the card carries a “Sponsor” or “Partner” label so you can recognise it; outbound links open in a new tab and are marked as sponsored links (rel="sponsored"). Sponsorship never affects learning content, exam results, plan prices or your entitlements. English RankUp does not sell partners' products or services — any transaction between you and a partner is governed by that partner's own terms.

6. Updates and reports

This policy is updated whenever the platform changes how things are displayed. If you find a sponsored entry that is not labelled correctly or that carries inappropriate content, please report it via the Contact page or at [email protected]; we handle it under our Complaint Resolution Policy.
